BIG NEWS (and thank you)!

Have you heard of the Inc. 5000 list? Inc. is a great magazine that focuses on the expansion and success of businesses, and their social media feeds, website, and magazine offer helpful material to business owners and entrepreneurs alike. From financial and leadership tips to showcasing what others are doing, sharing interesting stories, and everything in between, this company provides lots of relevant content for those of us in the business world. Additionally, they highlight companies that are growing at a quick rate, and our big news is this: Northwest Navigator just made their respected 5000 list, and you can check it out in’s September issue! (We aren’t proud or anything.)

This milestone is a happy achievement for us as our goal has always been to put our best foot forward in everything we do. While there are many factors that contribute to the success of a business, we hope that making this list is largely due to the fact that we prioritize the service our customers receive when they ride with us. From the equipment we have to the staff we hire, we want to give our customers the very best.

But it’s easy to say that, right? Any company can say that they value quality control, customer service and satisfaction, training, professionalism, and safety, but those are just words. We want you to see what that actually looks like in our business, every day. We try to practice what we preach in very practical ways because we believe that the “proof is in the pudding.” So, how do these values transfer to everyday action for us?

To begin with, we have a diverse fleet that enables us to accommodate groups both large and small in the Western United States and Canada. We have several full-size, 56-passenger motorcoaches that make it possible for us to take care of everything from large business events to family reunions and tour groups. And when you don’t need something quite that big, our executive mini coaches are a great alternative. (Even though they are smaller than the standard motorcoach, they’re quite the luxurious ride!) To round out our fleet, we have Mercedes Sprinter and Chrysler Town and Country vans, as well as small Ford Fusion cars available so we can adequately address any transportation need.

Because we want our customers to enjoy comfort and convenience, our coaches come equipped with several amenities. We have fleet vehicles that are ADA compliant, providing easy wheelchair access for any of our passengers who need it. Reclining seats make it easy to lay back and rest. Flat screens, PA systems, and DVD players facilitate watching movies for entertainment, discussing business presentations while en route, or watching game plays and talking strategies with your team while we do the driving. We’ve got CD players if you want to play some tunes, and wireless mics that make it easy to talk to everyone and be heard…especially if you’ve got a big group of excited kids on board! For your convenience, every coach has WiFi and power outlets so you can plug in and get work done, surf the internet, connect on social media, or take care of emails while we stay focused on the road. And, to quench your thirst, we also provide free bottled water for all of our passengers on every drive we take.

Sometimes, even with the best directions, it can be difficult to find something in a new place. However, this fact still remains: we prioritize punctuality and getting you to your desired destination on time. To assist us in that objective, our coaches have GPS systems installed so that we can get you where you need to be without any confusion, and without having to turn around.

We are sensitive to the fact that our customers put their safety in our hands when they choose us as a transportation provider. Because we’re grateful for that trust, safety is a non-negotiable company priority and we are big on preventative and routine maintenance on all fleet vehicles. Bottom line? When it comes to your safety, we don’t mess around.

In addition to taking care of our equipment, we place a strong emphasis on driver training programs. We want our drivers to be safe on the road, and we also teach green driving habits that are good for the environment. (We are a green certified transportation provider, and we’d like to keep it that way.)

Northwest Navigator is a proud member of IMG (International Motorcoach Group). Being a part of this group provides insurance for us as a company as well as those who ride with us. This group of operators is committed to the success of every other company within the association. We take care of each other if there are any problems on the road, and this makes it possible for us to guarantee your trip’s success in the event of an unforeseen complication. This 24-hour support system and dedication to excellence help all of us provide the very best to our customers. To find out more about IMG, check out their site at

The above-listed points are the ways we focus on giving our customers exceptional service, and making the 5000 list provides a great incentive for us to keep improving, setting goals, and working to achieve them. We want to thank for this awesome recognition and extend our appreciation to them for the work they are doing to encourage, promote, and support small businesses. We believe that, working together, all of us can succeed.

We also appreciate all of our customers for supporting us along the way. You are our greatest asset, and your feedback helps us understand what we can do to improve while also providing direction for the future. We look forward to every opportunity we have to serve you!
