Staff Bookkeeper – Full Time

Position responsibilities include: accounting filing; Processing Accounts Payable; perform some Accounts Receivable; Payroll timesheet reconciliation; some errands, such as travel to the Post Office, making bank deposits, etc.; personal assistant activities.

Required skills and experience: Educational and actual work experience with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and Payroll Timesheet Reconciliation; Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word; highly organized; detail oriented; dependable; trustworthy.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, some flexibility on start/end time, with occasional additional hours.

PAY: $20.00 – $25.00/hour

  • Some errands, such as travel to the Post Office, making bank deposits, etc.; personal assistant activities.

 

Required skills and experience:

  • Educational and actual work experience with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
  • Payroll Timesheet Reconciliation
  • Experienced performing bookkeeping functions in Quickbooks or a comparable accounting system
  • Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word
  • Proficient experience in Excel using formulas, pivot tables and creating reports
  • Able to communicate in business English, both verbally and in writing
  • Highly organized; detail oriented; dependable; trustworthy
  • Proven ability to manage responsibility and in a timely manner

 

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Quickbooks accounting experience
  • Month-end bank reconciliation work.
  • High School Diploma required; prefer an AA or Certificate in Accounting/Bookkeeping or better.
  • Criminal background check required.
  • Drug test required, including for MARIJUANA (we are a DOT regulated company, so must comply with federal requirements).
  • Able to prove right to work in the United States.
