Body Shop Repair Technician – Portland, Oregon

Hours: Full-time; All hours available, including side work (part-time/on-call).
Location: Portland, OR
Pay: $27.00 – $30.00/hour, Dependent upon experience and certifications

keep the fleet looking like it just rolled off the manufacturing line. That’s where you come in! We are
seeking an experienced auto body repair technician and offering great flexibility in scheduling – Part-
time, any hours; or after-hours side work, your choice.

Body Work Responsibilities:

  • Repairs damaged bodies and body parts of large motorcoaches and other related vehicles
    according to repair manuals and company specifications, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Able to perform the highest quality body, paint, fabrication, detail, and collision work.
  • Identify and determine parts required for repair; review repair orders.
  • Perform sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/ panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding.
  • Complete proper documentation and record keeping on repair orders.
  • Record incoming parts into inventory system.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control review of completed work to ensure highest standards of repair work and paint
    jobs.
  • Maintain up-to-date proficiency by attending training on the latest repair techniques and
    materials.

What we require:

  • Practical experience and proficiency in use of all tools required for the job (drills, sanders, die-
    grinders, impact wrenches, and jacks) required.
  • Practical experience and proficiency in use of all tools required to complete professional paint
    repairs and fiberglass in accordance with manufacturing standards.
  • 2-years minimum experience as an automotive body/collision repair technician
  • It’s a plus if you have ASE Certifications but not a substitute for real world experience (B2 –
    Painting & Refinishing, B3 – Non-Structural Analysis & Damage Repair, B4 – Structural Analysis & Damage Repair, B5 – Mechanical & Electrical Components) or Master Collision Repair & Refinish
    Certification.
  • Able to effectively practice and promote teamwork at all times; Attitude and performance
    reflects Excellence, Reliability, Safety and Luxury.
  • Physically fit; able to bend, stand and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Trade or technical school experience in body and paint work preferred.
  • All offers of employment are contingent on successful completion of pre-employment drug
